We usually answer all emails with in a couple days, so if you've been waiting quite a while already, please just send us an other message.

Sometimes emails don't get delivered, or we scan them and forget to hit "mark as unread"... No matter what happened, we want to make sure no one gets ignored.

The minimum at the shop is $100 but we all price individually.

For a more detailed answer, please contact the tattooer you wish to do your tattoo. They'll be able to give you a better quote on your specific tattoo.

Of course! If you have your own drawing, send it to your tattooer!

Ask your tattoo artist and they can give you an estimate. Sometimes that's hard before we have the drawings finished we can give you a ballpark estimate.

Short answer is that you don't need to tip at all. Tips are appreciated, but not expected.

The long asnwer is... it's complicated. Tips are kind of like paying it forward, like brownie points. If you're going to be coming in for lots of tattoos, sometimes its good to have some brownie points.

Your tattoo will take about 3 weeks to heal 90%. At this point, you don't really need to worry about any special aftercare routines and it's okay to come in for a touch up.

The remaining 10% take 6-8 weeks to fully heal. In this time, your tattoo might still look a bit shiny and have a smoother texture.

If you have any questions about healing, please contact your tattooer before you go searching on the internet. Not to say the right answers aren't there, but there's also a lot of BS.

Yes. All tattoos hurt. But that doesn't mean it's unbearable in most situations.

Some tattoos, of course, hurt — a lot. But not to fear, you can work your way up to it! If it's your first tattoo, just start with a small one. Or if you're not worried, go for the armpit!

Easiest places to get tattooed? Upper arm, forearm, front thigh...

Hardest plaeces? Armpits, feet, elbows, palms...

If your tattoo is still really sore, puffy, and red 3-5 days after you came in to see me, put a thin layer of polysporin on there once or twice a day for a day or two. Something probably got in there, maybe you hugged a cat, maybe sOmEoNe didn't wash their hands... Other than that, try and keep it as dry as possible.

Of course, if your tattoo starts getting ooozy or discoloured, please go see a doctor immediately!

Just kidding. If you have a tattoo you want covered up, sometimes it's better to lighten it up with some laser removal sessions first. It's not cheap and it's more painful than the original tattoo (or so I hear), but it does open waaaay more door for what we can cover it with.

Laser removal is never going to "erase" your tattoo as though it was never there, but can lighten it up a bunch. Like erasing pencil marks, you're never going to go back to a brand new sheet of paper.

There's a couple places in Kamloops that offer laser tattoo removal, but you'll need to do your own research.

Finally, there's you can get tattoo remval lasers online, but if you needed any convincing that this is a bad idea, look up Styropyro's video on these. They're not safe and you might go blind.

We all do cover ups, in our own way. Contact the tattooer who's style you like the best to get more info about your options

In some cases we finish other people's tattoos. What if your other tattooer disappeared, or died? What if they've stopped tattooing or moved away?

If you have a piece that needs finishing, contact one of us about finishing it. As long as you realize that that other artist probably won't touch you again.

Tattoos get blurry and less bright as they get older. But there's some ways to get the most out of your tattoo: mainly protect it out from the sun, lotion it, and generally have a healthy lifestyle. It also helps if if your tattoo is designed in a way that it will remain legible, dispite the aging.

Falk Tattoos has a collection of photos of older tattoos. They're of all different ages, done by different tattooers so they should give you a good idea of what to expect.

You can, but it'll mess up your tattoos, especially while they're healing. Even afterwards, you're not gonna do your tattoos any favours by cooking them in the sun.

But hey, you paid for them ... do whatever you want!

It depends:

While your tattoo is healing, no. Just keep it covered with a some clothing if you're going to be outside

Once it's healed, yes please use sunscreen! Sun damage is one of the most common reasons that tattoos start looking crappy when they age. You gotta protect your skin to protect your tattoo, so always bring some sunscreen if you want to keep your tattoo looking crisp for years to come.

In our oppinion, numbing creams are best used sparingly and only to finish larger piece in the most painful areas. If this is your first tattoo and you're worried about the pain, we'd reccomend starting out with something smaller in a less painful area instaed of trying to numb it.

If you're going to be trying otu some numbing cream, discuss it with your artist first.

If you seem drunk or high when you come in, you're not going to get tattooed that day

Everyone wants their tattoos to be the blackest black. If you've seen tattoos looking blueish and figured you'd rather have yours be even blacker than that, tough luck...

Your tattoos will always be seen through the layer of skin that grows above it. That skin is whitish and will make your tattoos look a lighter when they heal. No way around it unless you magically stop yourself from healing somehow, which would obviously be worse...

All of the inks we use in the shop are vegan. Not intentionally, but as far as inks go, most of them are vegan anyway. If you want to do your own research, we use Dynamic Black, Silverback, Eternal, Fusion, and Solid.

If there's somethign going on in the area we are planning on tattooing, let your tattooer know. A couple zits here and there aren't a problem though, but if you have any concerns, just ask your tattooer.

Not during a pandemic. While we're all still having to deal with people dying from this on a daily basis, only the person getting the tattoo is allowed to come into the shop.

Once things get back, closer to normal, you'll be able to bring a friend for moral support. no children please.
